Our client is looking for a talented Test Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and execution of Test Plans.

You will be responsible for testing software according to company guidelines and standards, ensuring that the delivered outputs align with client requirements. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work remotely for three days a week. Attractive remuneration and benefits will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute Test Plans for software testing.
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and Functional Testing to ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Actively utilize the software being tested, exploring all functions and tools to identify performance, reliability, and bug-related issues.
  • Identify and report any failures or deficiencies in the software.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to address and resolve identified issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test results, defects, and any other relevant information.
  • Stay updated with quality assurance processes and modern testing methodologies in the software development field.
  • Utilize defect-tracking tools and demonstrate proficiency in database concepts.
  • Apply your expertise in software testing within the insurance/InsurTech or Financial Services/FinTech sectors.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to testing procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification in Software Testing.
  • An IT qualification such as a relevant tertiary degree or diploma will be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in software testing, particularly with UAT and Functional testing, Web API, and Automation.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and modern testing methodologies within a software development environment.
  • Proficiency in Defect-tracking tools and knowledge of Database Concepts.
  • Experience within the Insurance/InsurTech or Financial Services/FinTech sectors will be beneficial.
