Our client is looking for enthusiastic Technical Sales Reps to join their dynamic team in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. As a key member of the sales department, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling the company’s technical products and services to a diverse range of clients.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical expertise, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to the company’s growth and success. Remuneration, allowances, and other incentives will be discussed during the interview process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of the company’s technical solutions.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on selecting the most suitable technical products and services.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitors’ activities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Sales Rep or a similar role in the technology industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the products or services being sold.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to sales.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
