Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join their team. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, expanding customer acquisition, and enhancing profitability by offering specialized filtration solutions to clients.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company and contribute to its ongoing success. The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from R25,000 to R36,000, along with commission, fuel allowance, and provident fund benefits after 6 months.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell products and services using persuasive arguments to prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers to showcase the value of filtration solutions.
- Maintain positive business relationships with clients, ensuring future sales opportunities.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to both existing and prospective customers.
- Analyze customer needs and conduct needs assessments to provide tailored filtration solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers, fostering trust and loyalty.
- Utilize cold-calling techniques to reach out to customer leads and generate new business opportunities.
- Resolve customer problems and complaints promptly to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve sales targets and outcomes within the agreed schedule.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze the market’s potential, track sales, and provide regular status reports.
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential for new products and services.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and promotional trends, continuously improving sales strategies based on feedback.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in business or a related field such as Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- Proven work experience as a Technical Sales Representative.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Familiarity with CRM practices and the ability to build productive business relationships.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
