Drake International is looking for a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a vital role in sourcing, identifying, screening, and hiring top talent for our clients’ permanent positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the client database by networking and converting information into business opportunities.
  • Source clients from various professional online channels and cultivate long-term relationships.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of client requirements and maintain up-to-date client information on Drake’s database.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers from a wide range of industries to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance recruitment processes.
  • Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to actively source and attract qualified candidates.
  • Implement creative and innovative methods to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume reviews, phone screenings, and initial interviews.
  • Evaluate candidates for cultural fit, skills, and qualifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from application to hiring, gathering feedback for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop competitive and compelling job offers.
  • Negotiate offers with candidates and manage the offer acceptance process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information on Drake’s applicant tracking system.
  • Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics and provide insights for improvement.
  • Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in recruitment processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Two or three years of experience in talent acquisition.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of current recruitment trends and best practices.
  • Two to three years of experience as a recruitment specialist in a recruitment agency is required.

This is a full-time position based in Port Elizabeth. The salary range for this role is ZAR10,000 per annum.
