The Health Spa Manager plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional spa experience to our guests. As a Spa Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and professional operation of the spa. From performing various treatments to maintaining cleanliness and stock control, you will ensure that guests receive top-notch service.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep updated with the latest spa trends and assist in training and development within the department.
  • Maintain discipline among the staff, ensuring equal treatment and strict enforcement of company policies and procedures.
  • Uphold company and statutory hygiene standards in all areas of spa treatments.
  • Attend and contribute to regular morning meetings, accurately communicating all relevant information to the team.
  • Efficiently manage and control stock procurement required for spa operations and retail products.
  • Perform various administrative functions accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor and manage budgets related to the spa department.
  • Provide skin analysis, skincare treatments, bodywork, and massages to clients.
  • Discuss client needs, evaluate beauty therapy processes and products, and provide advice on and sell cosmetic products.
  • Receive bookings, arrange appointments, and maintain client records.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of guests during spa treatments.
  • Fulfill hosting duties, ensuring guests feel welcome and comfortable.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by Senior Management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 (essential).
  • Degree or diploma in business management, hospitality management, or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and define problems.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, email, and internet.

Package on Offer:

  • Salary dependent on experience.
  • Single accommodation provided.
  • Meals on duty.
  • Medical aid contribution and 7.5% provident fund contribution.
  • 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule.
