Our client is looking for a talented Site Project Planner to join their team in Noupoort, South Africa. As a Site Project Planner, you will play a pivotal role in one of their most exciting projects in the Northern Cape, where three windfarms are under construction.
You will be responsible for project planning, communication with sub-contractors, and analyzing construction schedules within a larger master schedule. This is an opportunity to showcase your teamwork skills and contribute to the company’s mission in the Renewable Energy field.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as the motivated site planner for one of the most exciting projects in the Northern Cape.
- Communicate and collaborate with project managers and sub-contractors.
- Analyze and interpret construction schedules within a larger master schedule.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deadlines.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any project-related challenges.
- Utilize MS Office, MS Projects, Primavera P6, Power BI, and EPC Wrap for project planning and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in construction project planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction industry, preferably in large EPC projects.
- Exposure to at least one renewable project in your career.
- Strong knowledge of project planning and construction schedule interrogation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Projects, Primavera P6, Power BI, and preferably EPC Wrap.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of the Renewable Energy sector is preferred.
Package & Remuneration:
