Job Description

Our client, a leading automotive dealership based in Johannesburg North, specializes in providing exceptional service and support to customers. With a strong reputation in the industry, they are committed to delivering high-quality service and maintaining long-term relationships with their clients.

Our client is looking for an experienced Service Advisor with a background in Hyundai or Kia vehicles to join their dynamic team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support in the service department.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from R12,000 to R15,000, negotiable based on experience, along with additional incentives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide a warm welcome, ensuring a positive initial experience.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately record and document vehicle issues.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and communicate findings to customers.
  • Provide detailed explanations of required repairs, including cost estimates and timeframes.
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, keeping them informed of repair progress and any additional requirements.
  • Assist customers in understanding warranty coverage and other service-related policies.
  • Upsell additional services or recommended maintenance based on manufacturer guidelines.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure accurate billing and invoicing for completed services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service reception area.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric qualification is essential.
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor, preferably with Hyundai or Kia vehicles.
  • Proficient computer skills, specifically in CDK Drive software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
