Our client is looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Sales/New Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.
As a Senior Sales/New Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s client base. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your sales skills and make a significant impact in the advertising technology sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive sales tasks, including prospecting, lead generation, and client meetings, to identify new business opportunities.
- Present and demonstrate the company’s advanced advertising technology solutions to potential clients, showcasing the benefits and value they offer.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and solutions that meet clients’ specific needs and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including advertisers and agencies, to foster long-term partnerships.
- Stay updated with industry trends and developments, keeping abreast of the digital ecosystem to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue quotas, and other key performance indicators.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to win new business.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and progress to the sales management team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to drive product enhancements and innovation based on market feedback.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Proven track record of 3-5 years in sales and business development, preferably in the digital advertising industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A dynamic attitude and proactive approach, demonstrating a passion for achieving goals and driving success.
- Experience in selling digital solutions for advertisers, including video, display, traffic, native, and programmatic advertising.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the digital ecosystem, including industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
