Job Description

Our client, a leading company in the motor industry located in Isando, is seeking a skilled and experienced Sales Support Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

The company is looking for a Sales Support Coordinator who will be responsible for assisting with vehicle orders and stock management, as well as overseeing the invoicing process.

As the Sales Support Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to the sales team. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate the TDS system to manage vehicle orders and stock, and communicate with dealers.
  • Manage vehicle invoicing by checking invoice instructions, recording invoice information, and generating invoices.
  • Open deal files and maintain proper filing of documents.
  • Record information on invoiced vehicles on a daily basis.
  • Create orders for new vehicle stock using the Evolve system.
  • Issue pro-forma invoices to dealers and branches.
  • Issue invoices to dealers and branches.
  • Issue orders to suppliers and close orders.
  • Regularly check suppliers’ statements and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Manage outsourced supplier payments.
  • Compile monthly statistics on invoiced vehicles.
  • Organize invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and demonstrate a proactive approach in anticipating issues and requirements.
  • Pay close attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Maintain strong documentation skills and ensure accuracy in records.
  • Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric Certificate or higher qualification is required.
  • A qualification in Sales and Marketing would be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a sales coordinator in the motor industry.
  • Code 10 driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of the invoicing process.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Confident and proactive approach with the ability to anticipate issues and requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Good communication skills.
