Orleans Cosmetics is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in maintaining existing customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and achieving and exceeding sales targets across our four brands.
This full-time hybrid role requires excellent communication skills and a proven track record in driving sales growth. The position is based in Cape Town, with occasional travel to the Eastern Cape.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Make cold calls to potential clients.
- Schedule and conduct in-person and virtual meetings and training sessions with salon owners.
- Prepare and submit necessary administrative requirements in a timely manner.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Represent ORLEANS COSMETICS in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors’ products.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Proven experience in the cosmetic industry with a track record of driving sales growth.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and confident.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent work ethic and professionalism.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and forward-thinking mindset.
- National diploma/certificate in Beauty Technology/Somatology.
- Experience in salon/spa management is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to the Eastern Cape 2-3 times per year for a minimum week-long period.
