Rubber Roofs is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in promoting our waterproofing services, establishing strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients, including property owners, contractors, and property management companies.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our waterproofing solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and quotations, negotiating terms and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth project handover and provide ongoing support to clients throughout the sales process.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition of Rubber Roofs.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to generate leads and promote the company’s services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales pipelines, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials, campaigns, and promotional activities to support sales efforts.
  • Provide regular reports and feedback to the sales manager on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Excellent presentation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Painting experience would be a significant advantage.
