Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing pharmaceutical company operating in Johannesburg, Gauteng and the Free State area. Our client is looking for an experienced Pharmaceutical Regional Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and managing the pharmaceutical sales team in the Johannesburg and Free State area.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a rapidly expanding pharmaceutical company. Remuneration and incentives will be discussed during the interview process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and objectives.
- Manage and lead a team of pharmaceutical sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and coaching.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals and stakeholders in the assigned region.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional materials.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, codes of conduct, and ethical standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of the sales team and implement development plans as needed.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales Management.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Dynamic and driven individual with a passion for the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, and industry regulations.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
