Our client is looking for a dynamic Regional Manager – Field Sales to join their team in Durban. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the sales activities within the KZN region.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team, develop strategic initiatives, and achieve business objectives in the competitive telecommunications industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet regional targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and distributors.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry dynamics and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure the seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement effective sales training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining excellent service standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Regional Manager in the Telecommunication industry is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of the cellular industry, market trends, and sales strategies.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
