Our client, a reputable company in the automotive sector, is seeking a talented Regional Fleet Sales Manager to join their dynamic team in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa.

Our client is looking for a self-driven and results-oriented Regional Fleet Sales Manager to contribute to their sales operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the region, leveraging your existing client database.
Joining the company’s dynamic team, you will report to the National Fleet Sales Manager and play a crucial role in driving sales growth through proactive cold calling and effective sales strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and contribute to overall company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Utilize your current client database to generate leads and identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular cold calls and prospecting activities to expand the client base and achieve sales goals.
- Collaborate with the National Fleet Sales Manager and other stakeholders to develop effective sales plans and initiatives.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiating terms and closing deals to meet revenue targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, providing market insights to inform sales strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, monitoring performance against targets.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as finance and logistics, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and product knowledge updates.
- Stay informed about the company’s product range and features, effectively communicating their value to clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Fleet Sales Manager or in a similar sales role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- A strong client database in the region, with the ability to leverage existing relationships for business growth.
- Self-driven, motivated, and target-oriented with a track record of achieving sales goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to identify and address customer needs effectively.
- Proficiency in cold calling and prospecting, demonstrating resilience and persistence.
- Knowledge of fleet management and sales processes, including pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with the automotive industry and understanding of fleet management solutions.
- Proactive and adaptable to changing market dynamics and customer requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
