Our client is looking for a skilled Project Administrator to join their dynamic team in Pretoria. As a Project Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring effective coordination and administration of projects.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to project teams, including diary and meetings administration.
  • Assist in the production and administration of documents and reports.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and provide support for travel claims administration.
  • Handle telephonic communications effectively, ensuring professional and timely responses.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Support clients and project teams with timely and accurate information and assistance.
  • Assist in project management activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • National Diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or Business Administration.
  • Project Management qualification (NQF 6) is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role or in management consulting.
  • Proficiency in Project Management, with experience using MS Project considered advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Proven experience in diary and meetings administration.
  • Experience in document and report production and administration support.
  • Ability to handle telephonic communications effectively.
  • Experience in travel arrangements and claims administration.
  • Competent in office administration tasks.
  • Budget management skills.
