Our client is a leading company in the Sales and Marketing sector, operating in the Northern Cape region. With a strong presence in the industrial market, our client specializes in providing high-quality products to the Industrial, Mining, and Panelshop sectors.

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Industrial Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. As an Industrial Sales Rep, you will be responsible for marketing and selling products to industrial companies in the Northern Cape region.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your sales skills and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential customers in the Industrial, Mining, and Panelshop sectors and develop strategies to approach and engage them.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of the company’s products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities and generate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Achieve sales targets and meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the company.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge, industry trends, and market conditions to effectively position the company’s offerings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric qualification is essential.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle are essential.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative, specifically selling to industrial companies.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a self-motivated and proactive approach.

Remuneration:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly basic salary ranging from R20,000 to R35,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, a car allowance and commission structure will be provided. Relocation options can be discussed for suitable candidates.
