The Telecoms Academy is looking for an enthusiastic ICT Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Durban, Umhlanga. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for developing new sales opportunities, building trusted relationships with prospects and customers, and providing tailored solutions to meet their unique challenges.

By leveraging your analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and strong business acumen, you will contribute to the growth and success of our company. This role offers a highly rewarding compensation package, including a lucrative and uncapped commission structure, extensive training and development programs, as well as additional benefits such as a cell phone allowance, fuel allowance, and provided IT equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and establish new sales opportunities by engaging in research and cultivating relationships through on-site visits, networking, and customer referrals.
  • Establish trusted relationships through consultative selling, understanding the needs of prospects and customers, and moving beyond service provider status to a mutually beneficial partnership.
  • Maintain a competitive edge by staying abreast of industry trends and market activities.
  • Conduct research into prospective and current customer base to identify opportunities and anticipate future needs.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists to build and design the correct solutions tailored to solve customers’ unique challenges.
  • Act as an advisor for customers by engaging in continued research and detailed analysis to understand and anticipate their future needs, providing new perspectives and insights.
  • Handle customer queries and advise on the procedures to be followed regarding system queries and support tickets.
  • Work collaboratively in a sales team, fostering a culture of assistance and continuous learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric Certificate.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience in the ICT and/or business communication industry.
  • Proven track record of reaching sales targets.
  • Basic knowledge of network, connectivity, and telephony.
  • B2B sales experience in medium to large companies.
  • Valid Driver’s License and own transport.
