With a strong reputation and a focus on delivering exceptional insurance solutions, our client is seeking a strategic leader to join their dynamic team as the Head of Partnerships. This is an exciting role within a prominent company in the insurance sector.
Our client is looking for a Head of Partnerships to drive strategic partnerships and close multi-million Rand deals. As the Head of Partnerships, you will play a key role in delivering value-added insurance solutions to our partners.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the partnerships’ strategy, leadership, and management, as well as driving revenue and achieving business objectives. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic individual with a proven track record in deal closure and strategic leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take accountability for delivering value-added insurance solutions to our partners.
- Initiate and deliver services that meet partners’ needs and align with our client’s objectives.
- Oversee the partnerships’ strategy, leadership, and management, including P&L, growth, and profitability.
- Successfully close multi-million Rand deals, showcasing your ability to drive revenue and achieve business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify new partnership opportunities and assess their potential for mutual benefit.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring favourable terms for all parties involved.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of partnership initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the partnerships team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Track and report on key performance indicators related to partnerships and deal closure.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record in closing multi-million Rand deals within the insurance industry.
- Strong strategic leadership skills with the ability to drive revenue and achieve business objectives.
- Solid understanding of the insurance industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in managing partnerships, including strategy development, contract negotiation, and performance tracking.
- Financial acumen with the ability to analyze P&L statements and drive profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, or Insurance).
- Additional qualifications or certifications in strategic management or partnership development will be advantageous.
