Our client, a large concern in the property sector based in Klerksdorp, North West, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join their Corporate Service Division.

With a focus on engineering and property assets, our client offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to their ongoing success and growth.

Our client is looking for a dynamic Group Executive: Engineering and Property Assets to join their team in Klerksdorp. As the Group Executive, you will be responsible for obtaining benchmarking information, analyzing the property portfolio, developing property classification matrices, and managing property projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain comprehensive and relevant benchmarking/market information annually.
  • Analyze the composition of the property portfolio accurately and comprehensively.
  • Develop an accurate and comprehensive property classification matrix.
  • Gather business needs from various stakeholders and validate them.
  • Quantify property needs with less than 10% deviation from real cost.
  • Identify property projects in consultation with key stakeholders and within budget requirements.
  • Provide concise, accurate, and timely monthly reports on the Property Portfolio.
  • Handle emergency maintenance requests, including issuing job cards, obtaining quotes, negotiating terms, and approving invoices for payment.
  • Conduct annual site inspections, identify maintenance needs, and develop maintenance plans with estimated costing.
  • Consult with tenants regarding reasonable maintenance needs and adjust the maintenance plan accordingly.
  • Obtain budgetary approval for maintenance plans and procure quotes according to established procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a Project Management Office within a property management environment.
  • B.Eng degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
