Job Description

Our client is looking for a dynamic General Assistant with a strong background in admin duties to join their team. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative functions of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various general administrative duties, such as data entry, filing, and document management
  • Provide support in invoicing and quotation processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to facilitate smooth communication and workflow
  • Maintain a high level of organization in managing paperwork, records, and office supplies
  • Contribute to the coordination of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Assist in maintaining and updating databases, spreadsheets, and other relevant systems
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail
  • Support the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and other documents
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures in all administrative tasks
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering effective teamwork and cooperation

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Reside in Overport or surrounding areas
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in administrative roles
  • Basic understanding of invoicing and quotations
  • Knowledge and experience in various general administrative duties
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with others
  • Previous experience in sales or dispatch will be advantageous.
