Switchcom Distribution is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and PPC.
  • Create engaging and compelling content for digital platforms, including website, blog, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Optimize website content and user experience to improve search engine rankings and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Manage social media accounts, including content creation, posting, and engagement with followers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Utilize data and insights to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations on digital marketing performance to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, including campaign management, content creation, and social media management.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and social media management platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
