Our client is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join their team. As a key member of the firm, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing new client relationships and nurturing existing ones.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and excellent service delivery.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor analysis, and potential client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals for clients.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on business development activities and results.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish and enhance professional connections.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and changes to effectively communicate complex accounting services to clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials, presentations, and pitches.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Preferably a degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
  • Experience in the accounting or financial services industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of working with entrepreneurs and understanding their unique needs.
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving revenue growth.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex accounting services to clients.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with a hands-on approach to business development.
