As a Business Development Executive, you will be based in Durban and Johannesburg and you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and establishing strong client relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients, generating leads and building a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, target markets, and competitors.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to promote the company’s services and expand the client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry professionals, and internal teams.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring favourable terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to understand client requirements and provide customized solutions.
  • Monitor market changes and client feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance business development strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in sales or business development are a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role, preferably within the recruitment or staffing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the recruitment industry, including market dynamics and key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

Remuneration:

The Business Development Executive position offers a competitive salary range of R30,000 – R35,000 per month, along with fuel allowance and commission incentives.
