Job Description

Our client, a leading financial institution in South Africa, has partnered with one of the top 5 Banks in the country. They are committed to providing exceptional banking services and are currently seeking self-motivated and career-driven individuals to join their team as Tied Branch Bank Consultants.

Our client is looking for dynamic and experienced Bankers and Banking Consultants to join their team. As a Banker, you will play a pivotal role in providing excellent customer service and offering valuable financial solutions.

You will be responsible for various tasks, including sales, addressing product inquiries, managing customer accounts, and assessing client needs. If you have a keen interest in the banking industry and possess the necessary qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to identify their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct sales activities, including pitching banking products and services to potential clients.
  • Handle customer inquiries, address complaints, and provide accurate and timely information.
  • Assist customers with opening new accounts, processing statements, and managing debit orders.
  • Educate clients on product features, benefits, and terms and conditions.
  • Stay updated on the latest banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow up with customers to maintain relationships and identify additional opportunities.
  • Proactively identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a minimum of NQF Level 5 (FAIS Aligned Qualification) in a relevant field.
  • Possess at least 6 months of experience in Financial (FSCA) Subcategories, including Long-term Deposits, Short-term Deposits, Long-term Insurance Category B1-A, and Short-term Insurance personal lines A1.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations.
  • Strong sales competencies and the ability to convince customers effectively.
  • Familiarity with banking processes and procedures.
  • Exceptional values, integrity, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Proven accountability for personal and career development.
