Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Area Manager / Field Marketing Executive to join their team in Johannesburg North. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the company in a competitive industry.
As an integral part of the company’s dynamic team, the Area Manager / Field Marketing Executive will play a key role in driving marketing initiatives and managing the designated area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote products and services in the designated area.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and retailers.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the execution of marketing activities, including product launches, promotions, and events.
- Develop and manage the allocated budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, product development, and creative services, to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and marketing capabilities.
- Monitor and report on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Stay updated on industry developments and emerging marketing trends to drive innovation and stay ahead of the competition.
- Ensure compliance with marketing regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as an Area Manager in the cellular industry is essential.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
