Our client is looking for a dynamic and driven Adtech Sales Executive to join their team in Johannesburg. As a Senior Sales/New Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding the company’s presence within the South African market.
With a focus on developing and maintaining relationships with key media agencies and strategic advertisers, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead prospecting, scheduling pitch meetings, and preparing sales materials.
- Develop and diversify the client portfolio through effective business development strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and media agencies, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Organize and conduct regular meetings with clients and media agencies to understand their needs and provide relevant solutions.
- Deliver compelling presentations on our client’s product offerings for digital advertising, showcasing the value proposition to prospective clients.
- Attend social events and networking opportunities to expand professional connections and generate new business leads.
- Manage sales forecasting and work towards achieving revenue targets for assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on industry trends, digital ecosystem developments, and emerging technologies to enhance sales strategies and knowledge.
- Maintain a positive mindset and demonstrate a proactive approach in achieving sales goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in selling digital solutions for advertisers.
- Strong communication skills combined with a keen sense of organization.
- Demonstrates a dynamic attitude, self-motivation, and a proactive approach towards achieving goals.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including various formats such as video, display, traffic, native, and programmatic.
- Proven track record of successful sales performance and achieving targets.
- Possesses a real “hunting” mentality and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Positive mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
The salary for this position is R60,000.
