Job Description

A well-established construction company operating in Centurion, South Africa is seeking a dedicated and organized Administration Clerk to join their team.

From managing documentation to coordinating schedules, your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the smooth operations of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize company documents, including contracts, permits, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other business documents.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
  • Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining the company’s database and updating records.
  • Support HR functions, such as maintaining employee records and processing paperwork.
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • A qualification in business administration or a closely related field is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles is desirable.
