Our client is looking for an experienced Account Manager Supply Chain to join their team in Somerset West, Western Cape province. As an Account Manager Supply Chain, you will be responsible for strategically planning, executing, and overseeing the entire supply chain for designated accounts.

With a focus on alignment with company objectives and innovative approaches, you will enhance operational processes and drive success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan, execute, and oversee the entire Supply Chain for designated accounts.
  • Ensure alignment with Company objectives and implement defined strategies effectively.
  • Operate without supervision and introduce innovation to enhance operational processes.
  • Maintain proficiency in Import and Export Operations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Supplier Management.
  • Utilize a fundamental understanding of Operational Planning, including demand planning and forecasting.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of global shipping and trade routes.
  • Apply a basic understanding of supply chain costing for rate interpretation, cost updates, and invoice verification.
  • Display Key Account Management proficiency.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with Incoterms and possess basic knowledge of export documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4-7 years of experience in supply chain management within a similar-sized business.
  • Operational shipping and spend analysis expertise.
  • Degree/Diploma in logistics or supply chain management.
